Yunnan Province, China: Meteorological Monitoring of Lake Weather and Water Resources
The Project of Atmospheric Boundary Horizontal Flux

The system takes the SmartSolo M8000 data recorder as the core and is installed in the weatherproof enclosure on the mast. Then a wxt510 was selected to measure wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure and precipitation through an instrument. To measure dissolved oxygen, pH, algae and electrical conductivity in water, they selected a MS5 detector to bundle multiple sensors into one product.

Engineers also designed a special floating bracket to hang three water temperature probes 30 cm, 100 cm and 200 cm below the lake surface.

Because the land line cannot be used for power supply or communication, the system is equipped with solar panels for power supply and gprs modem for wireless communication.
