The SmartSolo Scientific seismic data recorder detects hydropower stations

A total of 4 survey lines were laid in the construction of this project, covering the riverbed, mountain and other terrain.

The distance between the points of the measurement line was 5m, and each arrangement of a measurement line was connected end to end. The original plan was to collect multiple shots at one time, and the three methods of surface wave, refraction and refraction chromatography were comprehensively interpreted. Due to the steep topography of the mountain and the great variation of the thickness of the accumulation body, the refraction chromatography is mainly used to detect the thickness of the accumulation body, and the wave velocity in the detection area is stratified, and the data is processed locally by surface wave method.

The 4km work was finished in three days. Including data acquisition, downloading and cutting, overlay, etc., the customer indicated that SmartSolo Scientific has very high construction efficiency. The experimental results show that the refraction effect is very good, the initial value is clear, the refraction wave is clearly visible, and the data quality is high.

The inversion results are in good agreement with the actual situation. The accumulations at both ends of the measured line are shallow, and the middle is slightly thick. The thickness of local accumulations varies greatly, and the overall accumulations thickness ranges from 10m to 20m.

This project is the first time for the customer to use SmartSolo Scientific intelligent seismometer. At the beginning, the customer had some concerns about blind mining and the data quality could not be controlled. After the first test, the high quality data of SmartSolo Scientific eliminated the concerns of the customer.

SmartSolo Scientific engineers quickly resolved the problem when a software failed to import multiple shoot Segd data after the collected data was superimposed. Powerchina Guiyang Institute is very satisfied with SmartSolo Scientific's service attitude and problem-solving speed.
